Terms of service
Plain terms for a simple service.
1. What LodgeWatch is
LodgeWatch watches a holiday park's public availability search for the dates and lodge types you choose and tells you by email or text when something you asked for becomes available. We alert; we never book, hold or buy anything.
Not affiliated with any holiday park; we link only to their official site.
2. No guarantee of a booking
We report what the park's site showed at the moment we checked. Availability can change at any time and may be gone before you get there. We cannot promise that anything will become available, that you will be told first, or that the price we show is the price you will pay.
3. Paying for an alert
Paid alerts are a one-off payment taken by Stripe for a fixed number of days. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Prices are shown in pounds sterling on the pricing page. A free alert is limited to one at a time, email only, and checked less often.
4. Refunds
If nothing becomes available during your alert, that is not a failure of the service and there is no refund. We refund in full if our service failed: for example, if we stopped checking for a substantial part of your alert period or could not send you messages because of a fault on our side. Ask by emailing lodgewatch@proton.me within 30 days of the alert ending. Your statutory rights are not affected.
5. Fair use
Please use LodgeWatch for your own family holiday. Do not use it to resell availability, to run many alerts on behalf of others, or to try to interfere with the park's website. We may cancel alerts that break this.
6. Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care but as-is. Our total liability to you for any alert is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Your data
See the privacy page for what we keep and for how long.
8. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the version on this page applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
